The Organizing Committee of the 5th Lam Dong Province Farmers' Technical Innovation Competition recently awarded the first prize to inventor Le Thanh Tri (Director of Thanh Tri Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district) for his product: a machine for washing and sorting tomatoes and other fruits.
The machine features a conveyor belt system 4 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, divided into 4 branches for automatic sorting of tomatoes and other fruits. Simultaneously, through a 26-meter-long conveyor system, tomatoes and other fruits are thoroughly washed using aeration and sterilization solutions, sprayed with a solution for processing shrimp shells, and their natural freshness is preserved for up to 20 days after harvest. The initial processing and sorting capacity for tomatoes and other fruits reaches 50 tons/day…
It is known that Thanh Tri Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. sold one tomato and other fruit sorting machine to Thanh Dat Fruit Cooperative (Moc Chau district, Son La province) for 1 billion VND. Currently, three other cooperatives in Son La province are placing orders for three more of these machines from inventor Thanh Tri.
